Notes on Using ColorNavigator, EasyPIX, and UniColor Pro with Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther)
Applicable Monitors: ColorEdge CG243W, CG242W, CG232W, CG222W, FlexScan SX2462W and newer models
1. Description
These applications may need several minutes for recognizing specific EIZO monitors when used with Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther), even though with Windows Vista, XP, Mac OS X 10.5, and 10.4 recognition only takes several seconds.
In-house testings show it takes approximately 1.5 to 4 minutes with ColorEdge CG242W, CG232W, CG222W, FlexScan SX2462W and newer models.
2. Cause
Mac OS X 10.3 takes a long time to recognize USB peripherals.
